I know that Muslims have been getting ridiculed pretty hard on a global scale recently. But honestly there are very few religions that have not catered to similar “activities” at some point or another in their histories. Seriously, the two most evident causes of war throughout all of history are traced back to two sources, those being, property and religion.
While I don’t condone any acts that violate the rights of any of natures creations, the truth of the matter is, everything has a right to their opinion, their beliefs, and their practices. This of course is limited only by the fact that nothing has the right to VIOLATE the rights of another in doing so. With this understanding we must realize that all things have a natural rights to defend themselves against such violations.
This does not elicit an excuse for violence. Violence and conflict should always be avoided, but temptation will always bring about chaos, and every individual must be prepared to respond to that disruption if they wish to continue THEIR OWN opinions, beliefs, and practices. In truth one should never endeavor to “initiate” conflict, but if conflict is brought upon them they must be prepared to defend against it.
As a Minister I accept all faiths. It is my intent to help any of natures creations to achieve their own goals and ideals. I do not apply to any one specific Religion. It is my opinion that “Religion” is simply a structure that restricts a given faith to a specific set of rules and regulations. I choose a more ethereal approach. I promote “faith” and not the “Religions” that would bind it.
The beauty of the United States of America is that it has written recognition, into its base binding law the Constitution. That all of its citizens, have the right and the opportunity, to practice whatever faith they should choose to adopt.
So even those without the merit of understanding that all of natures creations have the natural rights to worship as they see fit. The LAW of the nation recognizes this right regardless.
The end result is that we don’t have to agree, we simply need to coexist. As a “society” we have an easy task to perform in this regard. Being to do “nothing”. Or otherwise “Live And Let Live”.
Under the conditions of Unicursal Faith, this coexistence need never be questioned. However, under the conditions of intermingled “Religions” this is not so easy to achieve.
As each “Religion” has specified individual “boundaries” as to which any specific “faith” is to be applied, these “boundaries” are quickly determined to be “LAW” by those whom would “practice” that “Religion”.
To make matters worse “Societies” enact “Governments” to “govern” and “enforce” what has been agreed to as “Societies” law. Which in its very origination, and structure, “Government” itself becomes a form of “Religion”.
This quickly leads to a breakdown between the fundamental “LAWS” of the society, versus the “LAWS” of any one specific religion, or the laws of “Government”. With various “Religions” attempting to imbue their “Religious” laws into “Societies” laws, very often through manipulation of Government, conflict, corruption, and chaos are inevitable.
What we see is power that develops within the ranks of each individual “Religion” (Please remember that Government itself, in its basic form, is a type of “Religion”). Soon each “Religion” begins to become self righteous by virtue of its own beliefs. These various “Religions” begin to volley for dominance as they relentlessly attempt to imbue their individual “LAWS” into the hierarchy of “Societies” law.
By this point each “Religion” is empowered with its own self sustained narcissism, proliferating its opinion that ITS OWN LAWS are in some fashion far superior than any other, and therefore should be MANDATORY for ALL to follow, REGARDLESS of any “individual” opinion.
Thus begins the fundamental decay of “Societies” Law and as such a propagation of conflict, turmoil, and chaos.
How much easier it would be, to simply apply to the basic fundamentals of Unicursal Faith. Live and let live. If it harms no one, do as you will.
How quickly we become engulfed by our own ambitions. We begin to gestate that we ourselves are somehow superior in our opinions, more moral in our own character, and more sovereign in our ideals, and all those around us should be subject to OUR rules.
So we are left with the remains. Chaos and Conflict. Terror and Turmoil.
There is no one “right” way for everyone. We must all choose our own path. Your faith is unique to you and can never truly be “restricted” to the confines of any specific “Religion”.
There are no “evil” “Religions” or “wrong” ideas. Different individuals just see things from different points of view. An individual can not be judged solely by the “Religion” that they practice. The “Religion” that they practice may condone actions that we do not agree with, but it still comes down to the individuals responsibility to ACT on those ideals.
If an individual should choose to ACT on the principals dictated by any specific “Religion” than that individual should be held independently responsible for doing so. In truth is was THEIR choice, THEIR “faith”, and THEIR responsibility.
Your faith should dictate your “morals” far more than your “Religion”. You should not allow yourself to be a “servant” or “drudge”. It is YOUR life, YOUR faith, and YOUR choices that define, and guide you.
Walk you own path, and have the moral fortitude to allow others to walk theirs. Make no attempts to evince conflict, but you must be prepared to respond to those that do.
Apathy is NOT tolerance. Passivism is NOT peace. Ignorance is NOT enlightenment.
Never allow your “Religion” to require that you do anything if your faith does not consent.
Emancipate your faith, and never be blinded by your “Religion”.
Always remember, every individual makes their own choices, and will be held responsible for those choices. Each individual has a right to act as they choose, so long as they respect the fact that others have the right to do the same. As long as you do not violate their rights, you can do as you choose. However, the moment you choose to violate the rights of another, they in turn have the right to hold you responsible for you choice, and defend themselves against that violation.
So live and let live. If it harms no one, do as you will. And be prepared to accept the consequences of your own actions. Spend more time living YOUR life, and NO time telling others how to live theirs.
