I’ve just had an epiphany. I may have to rethink my ENTIRE view of the government pushing gun control.
Lets look at this logically.
1. Everything the government decides to “take over” they inevitably screw up. Score one for our side.
2. The government has completely proven they are incapable of enforcing any laws that they pass. Score one for our side.
3. All prohibition attempts that the government has ever enacted have always resulted in the very items they were attempting to destroy, becoming more prolific, easily accessible, and 1000% times cheaper to obtain. Score one for our side.
4. All prohibition attempts that the government has ever enacted have always resulted in the very items they were attempting to destroy, becoming impossible to track, impossible to regulate, and impossible to restrict. Score on for our side.
These are just a few examples. History shows the government has NEVER been able to accomplish ANYTHING they have attempted. Hell the majority of the time their attempts ultimately backfire and make matters 100 times WORSE than the intended results.
Hell, go ahead, ban them all. Then there will be twice as many, they will be easier to get, less expensive to purchase, none of them will be traceable, and we’ll have millions of “back yard mechanics” figuring out how to make them vastly more lethal.
I’m beginning to think the government might be doing us a huge favor.
